Operation Desert Shield/Storm
EPMD, Spec Mgt. Branch assigned me to Ft. Campbell, KY, May 1990 to the 160th (SOG) ABN. I assigned as a Regt. Chem Ops NCO, S-3, working on about everything a Sr. NCO could hope for - great experience. The Spec Ops Avn Regt (SOAR), attached me to 3rd Bn 160th SOAR (Abn) at HAAF, GA. The Bn and a slice of 5th SFG had boots on the ground 09/05/1990.
