Bio

I utilize naturally-occurring radioactive tracers to track groundwater. I look at how much there is leaving the land, what contaminants and nutrients it carries it with it, and how this changes with time. I also look at how this changes the chemistry of the coastal ocean, what grows and lives there, and how human influences on groundwater can affect the coastal ecosystem.
