Basic Seaman on a Point Class 82 foot Patrol Boat. Deck Maintenance, Helmsman, 50 cal gunner, quartermaster duty, Assistant Master of Arms, helicopter operations, boarding support(RHI launch and Recovery) Search and Rescue and Law Enforcement. Clean, Prep, Prime, and Paint anything and everything Coast Guard! Took a two year(non-rate) enlistment break from college. Best decision I ever made. I went on to finish college 3 years later. Picked up a masters in 98.
