Operations Research Analyst
• Applied analytical methods to the solution of varied and complex strategic, operational, and managerial issues; provided decision makers with quantitative basis for the evaluation of decision options.
• Designed, coordinated, executed, and conducted data analysis, and prepared reports for engineer, and chemical and biological defense systems' operational tests. Identified and developed data requirements; prepared data collection and reduction plans; and, used quantitative and qualitative statistical methods to analyze test data. Applied military judgment and experience to those quantitative and qualitative data.
• Executed operational tests and insured test data fidelity in evaluation of system effectiveness, suitability and survivability.

• Exercised daily authority and leadership in matters of personnel; intelligence; operations; exercises; logistics; mobilization; readiness; contingency planning; and, resource management for a US Army Reserve Transportation Brigade.
• Managed 15 transportation consultant teams that advised active US Army units deploying to combat areas in proper freight preparation and documentation and minimized land, rail and ocean transport costs to the Army.
• Managed multiple budget lines to ensure year-round mission execution in support of all Active Army units in the eastern third of the US.
• Insured the Brigade’s readiness and managed the mobilization of the unit immediately following the attacks of September 11, 2001.

•Met and planned with military and other government leaders on a regular basis, and with sector business leaders.

• Led and directed a mixed military and civilian multinational staff, and supervised the operations of 17 military port units in 11 nations across Europe, Asia and Africa.
• Tracked strategic initiatives by monitoring progress towards meeting goals and achieving benchmarks, analyzed data, ensured follow-through on the part of key players, and sustained momentum needed to drive these initiatives.
• Established priorities and directed staff in HR, logistics, contracting, resource management, and operations. Solved problems, mediated disputes, and dealt with issues before they are brought to the Commander. Served as a confidante and advisor to the Commander.
• Managed change during the Army-directed realignment of personnel and unit functions that corresponded with operations in the Balkans
