Bio
I am a Bishop in the Apostolic Church. I was an Infantryman while in the Army. I am a Army Service (NON-Combat) Veteran. My Military career was cut short due to issues with my command.
Military Experiences
Jan 2007 - Mar 2007
Infantryman
They caused me a great deal of emotional distress and also made many of my accomplishments disappear such as my rifle qualifications, which I scored Expert and my Graduation as an Infantryman.
I contacted the OIG at Benning and I requested an ELS Packet after they refused to allow me to contact my fiancee after she was involved in a car accident back home. I found out that her mother reached out to the Red Cross to relay a message to me and I never received it because of the Command's lack of respect.
I graduated my Infantry Class with my platoon but my records were altered and the certificates were never included in my OMPF to reflect this. Also my 214 was incorrectly generated.
Nov 2006 - Jan 2007
Infantry Trainee
I did the first half of my OSUT with this unit but had to be recycled after catching Pneumonia and being admitted to the Martin Army Community Hospital after another soldier was visibly sick but refused to go seek medical help.
I was transferred to Echo Company E Co, 2-54 IN, 198th IN BDE, Infantry as a result of this unfortunate event.
