Bio
Retired as a 1SG and served in several positions within the Aviation community. Started as a Cobra Armament Mechanic and transitioned to the AH-64A Apache then to the AH64D Longbow Apache. Served as a 1SG for a HHC, UH-60L Maintenance company, CH-47D/F flight company, and two separate LUH-72A Lokota flight Companies.
After my retirement from the Army I began working at Space Exploration Technologies Inc (SpaceX). I serve as an Avionics Production Supervisor overseeing 25 individuals in six sections. We manufacture all avionics, Solar Panels, Curcuit Card Assemblies, and electromechanical items for the Falcon 9 rocket, Falcon Heavy rocket, Dragon Space craft, and the Dragon manned Space craft.

Served as First Sergeant of an Air Assault/Attack company consisting of 10 UH-72A Lakota. Responsible for the training, professional development, health, morale, welfare, and safety of 37 Soldiers. Ensured mission readiness on all aspects of individual and collective mission essential tasks. Oversaw the enlisted Non-Rated Crew Member Training Program. Managed unit operations, logistical issues, and administrative actions. Supervised the unit training program. Provided daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and advised the commander on all Soldier issues and concerns. Oversaw the accountability of aircraft, equipment, and property worth over $50 million.

Served as First Sergeant for the only Heavy Lift Helicopter Company consisting of 15 CH-47F Chinook helicopters supporting the 25TH Infantry Division. Directly responsible for the coordination and management of all administrative and logistical issues within the company. Oversaw the enlisted Non-Rated Crew Member Training Program. Responsible for the training, professional development, health, morale, welfare, and safety of 73 Soldiers. Responsible for maintaining standard operating procedures and organizational systems in the company. Provided daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and advised the commander on all Soldier issues and concerns. Oversaw the accountability of aircraft, equipment, and property worth over $300 million.

First Sergeant
Served as First Sergeant for an Aviation Maintenance Company forward deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom supporting 28 UH-60L Black Hawks and 13 OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters. Directly responsible for the coordination and management of all administrative and logistical issues within the company. Responsible for the training, professional development, health, morale, welfare, and safety of 130 Soldiers. Responsible for maintaining standard operating procedures and organizational systems in the company. Provided daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and advised the commander on all Soldier issues and concerns. Oversaw the accountability of aircraft, equipment, and property worth over $120 million.
