Served on Active Duty from 30 October 1973 to 31 December 1995. While on Active duty served as an Air-defense Team Sergeant, Combat Engineer Vehicle Commander, Section Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Motor Sergeant, First Sergeant. After retirement have been employed as an Army Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) Instructor first at Clinton High School and currently at Ozark High School.
Originally from Richton, Mississippi, the son of Alford and Josephine (Dunnam) White (Deceased). Married to Deanna Patton.
Retired from Active Duty on 1 Jan 1995, Employed as the Army Junior ROTC Instructor for the Clinton High School Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) 10 Nov 1994 to 30 June 2003. Employed as Ozark Army Junior ROTC instructor, drill team and color guard coach from July 1, 2003 to Present.
