I was responsible for supervising the Battery Operations in garrison and the Battery Fire Direction Center in the field. As the Fire Direction Chief I oversaw the process of receiving, verifying, assigning and reporting the completion of fire missions for indirect rocket and missile fires in support of the battalion. In garrison I oversaw the battery staff assisting the Battery Commander and 1SG with daily operations.

I was the Convoy Security/Personal Security Detail Platoon Sergeant for V Corps Artillery on their deployment to Iraq and Multinational Corps Iraq. My platoon was responsible for escorting dignitaries around central Iraq. We ran over 240 missions in our year long deployment without any injuries.

I was the Battery Operations NCO/Fire Direction Chief for C Battery 1st BN 27th FAR stationed out of Babenhausen, Germany; part of V Corps Artillery. I lead HQ platoon of 24 personnel during the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Our unit fired 67 ATACMS in support of 3ID, 101st ABN and the 11th AHR.
