My Navy career starting in May 1982, bootcamp in Great Lakes. First duty was Scotland. Left active duty in Jan 1993 as a First Class PO/E-6. In April 2000 I joined the Navy Reserves as an E6. Volunteered to be mobilized and went to Bahrain for a year. After finishing BS and MS degrees I got a direct commission in 2007. Spent 17 years enlisted and retired as a LT with 7 yrs as an Officer.
