Bio 

Researches and supports the definition of the engineering solution to provide CDL capability for NCTE Fleet Synthetic Training. Works with NWDC Integration engineer to develop milestones and the timeline associated with rolling out CDL capability across the enterprise. Supports the development of technical and engineering architecture needed to implement capability.

Planned and led an unqualified ASW team through an ASW team trainer resulting in a passing grade. Trained junior sailors with Time Bearing/Time Frequency, Target Motion Analysis Plotter, Target Motion Analysis Coordinator and Antisubmarine Evaluator. Not only qualified as a level 4 ASTAC but also qualified as an Anti-terrorism Tactical Watch Officer (ATTWO). As an ATTWO, was a key element to the successful completion of all shipboard Anti-Terrorism events and qualified six more ATTWOs to maintain the ships flexibility. Assumed duties as the Combat System Training Team (CSTT) Lead. Developed, implemented and supervised over 20 CSTT scenarios, to include 2-3 hours ASW exercises, 2 hour mixed ASW and SUW exercises and 1 hour AAW exercises.

Coordinated and supervised the installation of the Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT) training module as the Curriculum Model Manager for Operations Specialist “C” School. Exceptional leadership and innovative decision making resulted substantial cost savings resulting in upgraded training avenues for the Fleet Sailor. Selected to lead the Job Task Analysis to Training Objective mapping for six major courses, which supported the Navy’s “Revolution in Training” and resulted in the right training being conducted at the right time. . Impetus behind the development of the new OS/QM journeyman course and spearheaded the efforts of the Course Master Schedule working group.

Provided focused and concentrated training for three individual ASTAC’s that resulted in those sailors finishing in the top of their class. Recognized by senior Navy evaluators for meticulous preparation and successful execution as the training POC during USS Nicholas’s inaugural Battle Group In-port Exercise (BGIE). Easily adapts to ever changing operational situations and provides innovative solutions which allowed the USS Nicholas to deploy three months early with a 100% qualified watch team to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean Sea.
