German Police Laison

HHD, 210th MP, 177th MP BDE, Michigan ARNG | Mannheim, Germany

I worked in the bn S3 section and laisoned with the Mannheim Polizei in order to find out info about wanted terrorists, etc and relayed this info to the S2 section. I also worked to have any soldiers who violated host nation laws to be turned over to the MP authorities to avoid problems in the German judicial process.

Hurricane Katrina

I worked in the S3 section of a Military Police Bn, helping to relocate Louisiana citizens who were wiped out by the Hurricane. We set up various shelters around Louisiana for people and animals, set up a security protocol for in processing people, and established communications with the Louisiana Natl. Guard state command. Louisiana and Miss in AO

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan

I worked in the S3 of an MP Bn, in the security of the US Pentagon while rebuilding one whole section in the aftermath of 9-11. We set up security 24-7 of the entire building and it's adjacent road network and also covered the US Naval Annex next door. We set up emergency drills incl chemical attacks and worked closely with the DOD.

Operation Joint Endeavor

I worked in the S3 section of an MP Bn as a police laison with the German Polizei. I was the unit translator for the MP Bn. while in country. I co ordinated updates on wanted terrorists in the Federal Republic and passed this info on to the S2. Any accidents or host nation violations by soldiers were co ordinated by me to handle by the MP's.
