Serves as the Casualty/ Mortuary affairs assistant at Fort Drum, NY and is responsible for the designated casualty area command (CAC) which consists of 5 states and 45 counties. Responsible for the care of remains and personal effects for active duty military, reserves and national guard members who die on active duty, and DOD civilians on TDY, and for interpretation of regulations pertaining therto.
