Bio
I retired after 22+ years of Active Duty service. I've served as a CRBN staff officer from Battalion up to Division level and have commanded multiple companies. Most of my time was spent at Fort Hood, but I also have spent time at Fort Campbell, Fort McClellan, Fort Leonard Wood and Fort Leavenworth.

Professor of Military Science
Commands the Patriot Battalion ROTC program consisting of approximately 100 Cadets and 11 Cadre and staff members. Responsible for the recruitment, retention, contracting, training and leader development of over 17 Cadets per mission set, leading to an annual commissioning requirement of 14 Army Officers. Additionally, responsible for developing and managing Army and University budgets; fostering cooperative partnerships with local USAREC, USAR and ARNG units; acting as a U.S. Army ambassador in local academic and civic communities.

Responsible for the development of maneuver support and protection concepts, ensuring the conceptual integration of current and future tasks, capabilities and systems to assure mobility, freedom of action and protection for Army and Joint forces. Provide direct input to the Commandants of the Engineer, CBRN and Military Police schools, ensuring integration of concepts with doctrine, organizations, training, materiel, leader development, personnel and facilities (DOTMLPF). Provide oversight and integration of analysis, studies, operational architecture and experimentation efforts.

Battalion Executive Officer of the Special Troops Battalion for the III Mobile Armored Corps and United States Forces-Iraq--a Joint, echelon above Corps headquarters battalion consisting of four MTO&E companies and fifty attached, OPCON or TACON companies/detachments/teams. Assists the battalion commander by directing, coordinating, supervising and training the battalion staff. Maintains routine systems to ensure the battalion can logistically and administratively support the 5,000+ Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and civilians assigned to the United States Forces-Iraq headquarters.

Company Commander for the 68th Chemical Company, Dragonmasters! We owned an area of southern Baghdad and performed daily mounted patrols within our battlespace which included a segment of Route Irish. We were also tasked with EOD security escort for our Brigade, gate/tower guard, FOB QRF, and two HAZMAT response teams for all of Baghdad.
