Born and raised in the Birmingham, Alabama environs. Joined THE United States Air Force DEP in 1983, day after graduation from Ensley High School. Went to Basic Training February 1984 as “guaranteed mechanic”. Hoping for “jet mechanic”...wound up in AGE as a mechanic. Loved it! In 1993, in search of “a chance to excell”, cross trained to Logistics plans. Loved that career field too!
