Operation Desert Shield/Storm
At the time of Desert Storm there was only 1 established geographical location point in the area, located in Ankara, Turkey. Acting on special assignment it was the duty of our squad of 5 to to traverse from Anakara, Turkey to Kuwait City, Kuwait and install new geographical points in Kuwait City so the Howitzers could take up position.
