Served from 1/86 - 8/87 in A Co., 2nd Plt. and HHC (Pac Rats), 1/505th PIR. Bn. Cdr. at that time was a LTC. Stephen R. Pullen and Bn. SMG was Andrew McFowler. Left Active Duty as an E-4. Re-enlisted in the Va. National Guard @ Ft. Bragg, & left for College and the 3/116th Stonewall Bde., 29th ID, in Va. Went to a bunch of schools, etc. as well as Federal OCS in the Summer of 1990. After an uneventful posting as a Guard Infantry officer, I got out in Nov. of 1993, resigning my commission.
