From 1973 when I ETSd from the Army, I held several jobs...Eagle Aviation as an acft mech, Saunders Leasing as a diesel Mech, Ryder Truck rental as a shop foreman
Married in 1975, have 2 children...one boy, one girl...and 8 grandkids....joined the national guard as a traditional guardsman in 1986, then as a technician in 1989.

Had a 13 year break between active duty and the National Guard...2 tours to Vietnam, 71-72; 72-73....then with the Guard 2004 OIFII...plus every natural disaster in the southeast...and the Olympics in Atlanta 1996.

Two tours, with a stint at Ft Hood in between as an M-60A1 MBT driver/gunner/cdr...ETSd from Ft Hood as asst NCOIC S-4, 1BDE, 1st Cav Div in 1973...had a 13 year break in service, then joined the Georgia Army National Guard in 1986, and retired in 2011....28 years total service...also had 23 years as a fed technician with the guard from 1989 till 2012.
