Bio
Began career as an Infantry Line Medic in Iraq. Stayed with 2-12INF for 6 years and two more combat tours in Afghanistan. Have experience as a line medic, clinic medic, senior line medic, instructor, Forward Aid Station NCO and an Infantry squad leader. Upon promotion to Staff Sergeant, I was transferred to the Brigade Support Battalion's medical support company as a platoon sergeant.
Joined the military at 18 years old after volunteering with a local ambulance company and the Civil Air Patrol. Career medic in the process of being medically retired from Active Duty due to injuries sustained in combat.

Evacuation Platoon Sergeant for the medical company in a Brigade Support Battalion. Responsible for all platoon equipment including five FLAs and medical coverage for activities across the entire brigade.

Company Senior Medic/Forward Aid Station NCOIC
Company senior medic for a heavy weapons infantry company. Deployed with the unit to Nangalam Base and took over as a Forward Aid Station NCO. Awarded an ARCOM for a critical casualty MEDEVAC under extreme circumstances and awarded a end of tour BSM for work setting up the autonomous Afghan Army medical unit as well as dozens of casualty evacuations.

Company Senior Medic
Senior medic for a Forward Support Company attached to 2-12IN. Conducted logistic patrols, packaged medical supplies for transport and worked as impromptu medical LNO for the battalion. Conducted operations during the 2009 Afghanistan elections and was injured in action August 19th, 2009.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Forward Aid Station NCOIC at Nangalam Base, Pech River Valley. Cared for over 30 combat casualties during extended MEDEVAC holds. Successfully assisted in standing up Afghan Army medical personnel to be able to independently conduct medical operations.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Stationed at FOB Fenty in RC-East. Spent time as the senior medic of a Forward Support Company conducting logistic patrols across the Pech River Valley. Was wounded in action August 19, 2009 from small/heavy arms and RPG fire but was able to finish the tour with my unit.

Infantry line medic with B Co, 2-12IN, 2BCT, 2ID. Daily patrols in the Al Doura District south of Baghdad working with the local population develop their own defense structure and civil engineering abilities.
