Enlisted in USAR @ age 33, to serve my country before it was too late (too old). Tested 99th percentile on ASVAB (recruiter said I missed 8 questions), so got my ‘choice’ of jobs - chose PSYOP (37F). Swore in at Atlanta MEPS four days (Friday 09/07/01) BEFORE 9/11 (Tues). Two months after finishing training (BCT/AIT) our unit mobilized to Afghanistan for OEF nine month tour. Honorably Discharged 09/2009.
