Organizational (Force) Development Officer
Developed from idea to a formally approved organization, the division he served with for 4(+) years. Later assisted in the redesign of his senior directorate’s organization to better align with its higher headquarters. Managed a budget and monitored a contract in excess of $3.6 million and 13 contract personnel. Assisted with the “day to day” management in the absence of his division chief and represented the same during the annual budget process. Planned, lead, and facilitated an eighteen month study to address a Secretary of Defense and Congressional Mandate. Lead the study through a Human Resource Development Initiative which delivered a Human Capital Resource Strategy to identify and develop an Army Space Cadre.

Trained and supported his Afghan organizational development counterpart in the build and maintenance of the Afghan National Army, 70,000 which has since grown in excess of 200,000 personnel. Planned and delivered the organizational development initiatives that produced Commando Battalion, Heavy Weapons, and Military Police capabilities now residing within the current organization.
