Client Systems Technician

Providing the Air Force with communications networking expertise, Client Systems specialists ensure that all of our computer hardware and software function correctly at all times. From installing necessary programs to troubleshooting and repairing any problems that arise, these experts play a critical role ensuring that we maintain the access and control of the technology necessary to complete all of our missions. There’s more to it but I repaired and maintained and facilitated: cellphones, laptops, desktops, servers, specialized equipment, inventory systems, windows deployment servers, SCCM, and implemented various STIGs. Carried out Windows 10 and 11 updates along with two base-wide IT systems refreshes in addition to three deployments.

Operation Allies Refuge (OAR) - Qatar

Daytime cyber support and assistance until the evacuation began. Then everything changed gears and we supported passport processing, workstations, WAPs, servers, and everything to facilitate Joint Service and State Department operations to get civilians to safety. I had to be evacuated during this time due to declining health after completion.

Nighttime NOC operations, survived unexpected global pandemic. Got awarded Joint Meritorious Unit Award and Outstanding Unit Award.
