Bio
I enlisted into the Air Force right out of high school. I had no idea what I wanted to be as far as an occupation. I was assigned Electrical Power production Tech school at Sheppard AFB. I spent eight years in the Air Force. I got an Honor Discharge and went to work as a motor rewinder and generator/welder repairman. Got into a hydroelectric apprenticeship. I worked generation, transmission and HVDC. I loved the electrical field. I especially loved working on high voltage electrical power transformers and converter transformers. It was great career. All started with the Air Force. After 36 years I retired. Miss it but enjoying retirement. I volunteer with an Honor Guard team and perform military horns to veterans who have met their final roll call. I also volunteer as a Ballot Runner for our county elections.
