Served as the Battalion Commander of the Special Troops Battalion for United States Forces Korea (USFK). Directly supervised two companies consisting of the United Nations Command (UNC) Honor Guard Company and the Theater Air Naval Ground Operations (TANGO) Security Force. Provided administrative, logistics, training and operational support to Army personnel serving on the USFK/Combined Forces Command (CFC)/UNC Headquarters Staffs during armistice, crisis and periods of active hostilities, including ceremonial support, security of the Mission Essential Vulnerable Area and TANGO CP.
