6 years as aircraft electrician. Experience on many aircraft types, including C-130 A, B, E, and HC-130H; KC-135A, B-52D and SR-71. Retrained to Safety due to hearing issues. Last assignment was Safety Superintendent at HQ Strategic Air Command. Retired with 22 years active duty. Then after 1 year of training, worked in the IT department of a government agency, retired as a GS-13 IT Project Manager. 24 years.
