VS-21 is a USN squadron of 10 Lockheed S-3 aircraft primarily designed for anti-submarine warfare. We were HP NAS North Island, CA and served onbd various aircraft carriers. I personally do not appreciate this website telling me who or what VS-21 is. "V" means fixed-wing aircraft, "S" is anti-submarine. Even numbered squadrons ar Atlantic, Odd numbered squadron, Pacific.
So why this website wants to tell me I served in a Helo squadron LANT fleet is beyond me.
