Primary duties include accessioning patient specimens, autoclaving sterile water, culturing patient specimens, identifying pathogens for urine, wound, anaerobes, respiratory, stools, blood and throat cultures, according to the Standard Operating Procedures for the microbiology laboratory regarding work ups. Check paristology slide for potential parasite for patients. Visit wards for blood draw for patients.
