was offered cia extension at end of vietnam, but declined the offer. came back to my home town, finished technical training and worked in manufacturing special machines. married with family-2 sons and grandchildren, one of them working on the flight deck of a nuclear aircraft carrier. retired but still being active

Squad Leader
started out in recon with the squad radio, then assistant m60 gunner, then squad leader. after 8 months in the bush took some shrapnel in the lower leg, went to the rear at bien hoa and was assigned to help run the chopper pad checking in troop movements and helping the red hats sling out going loads---the adventure of a lifetime. thank you Lord for saving me!
