Prepare meals in base main dinning hall until I achieve higher skill level. At the same time we pulled sight security and worked in Red Horse Supply. Operated heavy equipment. A jack of all trades.

Vietnam War
Assigned to 823rd Civil Engineering Sq (Red Horse). I was on loan to the 3rd Services Squadron until I had obtained my 5 Skill Level in Food Services. I then was back full time with my Red Horse Unit. After returning to Red Horse I was assigned to supply where I did everything from warehouse too heavy equipment operations. I drove fork lifts, front end loaders, and 55, 72 foot tractor trailers. I also pulled security duties on all job sights and motor pool. Volunteered as gunner on Huey (1 time) and security detail off base.
