I'm answering God’s call to become a Catholic Priest as a late vocation. I am a seminarian at Mt St Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. I am also a combat veteran of Ramadi, Iraq (05-06) retired from the National Guard after 24 years, & retired as a civilian career firefighter with 20 years on the job. Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Patrolled in and around Ramadi, Iraq conducting counter-insurgency operations with a different infantry platoon each day, relieving other medics. Our unit was attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, PAARNG, whcih was under the command of the 2nd Marine Division. Awarded the Bronze Star for Valor.
