Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
I was a medic attached to a tank battalion during the initial "shock & awe" campaign of OIF. Helped save the lives of many soldiers, including keeping vitals stable until we could get them back to the CSH unit. I received an AARCOM with Valor for calling in a MEDEVAC to save several scouts who were ambushed.
