Assigned to TUSLOG Det 4 ( Field Station Sinop) I was the senior man on duty at site Hippodrome when the Turkey experienced a military coup. As site Hippodrome was a sensitive operation, I had to "break out" burn bags for any documentation and prepare the system equipment for the use of thermite charges. Thankfully, we didn't need them.
