Bio
Born and raised in New Orleans. Like my father and grandfather, I joined the Navy. Vietnam 1970. Retired from the electric utility industry in 2005. Married in 1971, 2-sons (Navy and Army), 10-grandchildren (2 in Army), and first great-grandchild on the way. Enjoying retirement with my wife in the North-Central Arkansas Ozarks.

Aviation Ordnanceman (AO)
Following boot camp at Naval Recruit Training Command in Orlando, FL, I received orders to "A" school for Aviation Ordnance School in Jacksonville, FL. After graduation from "A" school, I was assigned a plane captain while attached to VA-172 on the 1970 Wes Pac aboard the USS Shangri-La. After Vietnam, I received orders to Aircrew Flight School Training (VP-30) at NAS Pax River, MD. Once graduated, I received orders to VP-8 at NAS Brunswick, ME where I completed my four years active duty.
