Bio
My bride and I have been married for over 40 yrs. she joined me on our journey in the military. We had four children over the years but early in our marriage we miscarried our first and just three years ago we lost our 24yr old son to suicide due to mental illness. We have two sons with us today. Our eldest served in Iraq as a Medic in the Air Force and our middle son is a Police Officer. I spend my days serving my fellow man in the Army of the Lord along with my wife.
Military Experiences
Nov 1983 - Nov 1989
Soldier
I drove motor vehicles of all sorts in all terrain and all condictions ie;6x6 2&1/2ton utilities,5 ton heavy cargo vehicles,915 semi tractor&trailers,1/4ton untility vehicles,P/U's, G-G's Gama Goats and pretty much any thing with wheels and a motor. With a stepfather who served in war and rised me with certain disicplines I found the military easy to adapt to and excel in.Leadership came pretty easy and also problem solving.During a return convoy trip back from California (Exercise "Gallant Eagle") Our convoy of 20 plus vehicles was involved in a chain reaction accident that destroyed half of our vehicles.I was pinned in the cab of a 2-1/2 ton 6x6 that was bent in two. After that day in Houston,Tx my military career was over.I worked hard to get healthy and finished my enlistment honorably.
