Completed a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) in 1986 from a state university. Taught elementary school for five years as a substitute teacher. Tutor in a state Literacy program for 10 years. Volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children, 2yrs.

Avionics
I was the SP-5 in charge of the Avionics section in my Arty Unit with 26 helicopters.
The unit had 6 HU-1Bs and 20 OH-13s. My Btry retired the 11 Air Assault Div. colors and changed over to the 1st Air Cav Mobile Division in Ft. Benning, GA. President Johnson ordered the Div to South Vietnam in 1965. The Divi. left Jacksonville, FLA, in August 1965 on the Boxer Aircraft Carrier and arrived in Vietnam in September. I served in Vietnam from then until July 1966.
