Joe Parsetich, an Air Force combat veteran of the Vietnam War, was elected National Commander of the over 1 million-member DAV (Disabled American Veterans) at the organization's 2022 National Convention in Orlando, Florida.
Parsetich was appointed by Secretary of Veterans Affairs, to the Veterans Rural Health Advisory Committee in 2017 and continues to serve under Secretary McDonough.
