Bio 

Before coming to 1109 Bravo I was the Dean at Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) for 6.5 years. I served 10 years in various principal positions at Guilford County Schools (GCS) and as an Ast. Principal at High Point Central High School, and a Marine Corps Junior ROTC instructor for 8 years. I served 23 years in the USMC, in the infantry, Force Recon, Military Education, and leadership.

Was the Operations Chief for the Force Recon Group in DESERT STORM. Also, Det NCOIC for special operations detachment on umm al Maridem Island and SOTF pre-DDay. Awarded 2 Navy-Marine Commendation Medals, Navy-Marine Achievement Medal w/Combat V, and 2 Combat Action Ribbions.

Served as Detachment First Sgt in Norway above the Arctic Circle to test NATO's Norway Airlanded Marine Expeditionary Brigade (NALMEB). the NALMEB called for airlifting an MEB from the U.S. to Central Norway, where it would marry up with pre-positioned weapons, equipment, and supplies. Conducted and Instructed operational forces in Artic Warfare.

Served as Force Recon Operations Chief for a Force Recon detachment (s) during the Desert Shield and Storm. Conducted insertions and extractions of Force Recon teams and participated in the Battle of Kahafji during the Iraqi advance and occupation Khafji. Established FOB on umm al Maradim island for SOTF ops as part of the D-Day deception plan.
