Went to basic training 6/11/1979, in Ft. Sill OK, the day John Wayne died. Then went to the Defense Language Institute in Monterey California. After completing the Basic Russian course, went to Goodfellow Air Force Base for Electronic Warfare Course, and graduated top of the class. Had additional training at Ft. Devons MA, then was assigned to Field Staion w. Berlin. Retired after 34 years teaching Science
