All but one of the men in the platoon I led made it home. Uncle put me thru seminary, then I spent 30 years as a pastor. I’ve written songs about Nam that I’m slowly recording. You can find the first two on SoundCloud. Just started on a book about Nam vet suicide. Welcome home, brothers.

Commanded two units during my time in Vietnam. The first was a rifle platoon with Alpha 1/46, 196 LIB. The second was the battalion 4.2 inch mortar platoon.
