Operation Bright Star - Egypt
Despite the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, we still deployed to Egypt to participate on this multination training exercise. I was a Chaplain Assistant assigned to the 559th QM Battalion and provided support also to the 260th QM Battalion. As a Chaplain Assistant my role is not just protection to the Chaplain or setup for religious services.
