I am a very blessed and lucky man. I have been married for 42+ years to Cathy Lyter-Iooss; who has been truly a blessing; she is also my best friend. My wife had two kids and we have taken in a few; we are blessed with 10 grandchildren and 5+ great grandkids(we have one on the way). I am also surrounded by good friends and co-workers.

Executive Officer

3rd IN RGT, MDW | Fort Campbell

Platoon leader and executive officer to new brigade being formed primarily made up of Vietnam returnee awaiting their discharges. January, 1968 until May, 1968 I was completing OCS, Jump School and Ranger School. November 1968 to December, 1968 attending Advisors school at Special Warfare school at Fort Bragg.

Vietnam War

Combat Infantry Officer working as an advisor via MACV with the Vietnamese Army. After returning to Vietnam after being wounded in August, 1969 i was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division as a training officer on company and platoon tactics.. Returned to Vietnam in 1972 and 1973 as a contractor; left final time in June, 1973.
