I am currently reading for a PhD at the University of Exeter. I am searching for post-study employment where my leadership, management, and organizational skills can be utilized in addition to my research skills.
My post-Active-Duty career to this point has been pursuit of a PhD and development of researcher skills.

Deputy Chief of Current Operations
-Team Building: Built and trained a team of roughly sixty persons from only ten.
-Management: Directly supervised thirty-two of these persons.
-Multi-National Experience: This team was international, comprised of members from multiple NATO nations, primarily France, New Zealand, Poland, and the United Kingdom. Also served as a special liaison officer to Polish forces during high-priority operations.
-Analysis and Reporting: Collected and analysed continuous reports from all organisations in eastern Afghanistan, developed these into concise reports for use by the commanding general.

-Leadership: Led a thirty-five soldier platoon responsible for the security of a cavalry squadron mobile command post during combat air-assault operations.
-Operations Management: Responsible for planning and supervising all operations, logistical support, security and training for this unit.

Leadership: Commanded a twenty-two soldier scout-platoon conducting reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition, and security operations in Iraq.
Operations Management: Responsible for all decision making and planning within the platoon during operations.

Troop Executive Officer
Note: Successfuly served in this position as a new 2LT; assigned this more senior position due to officer shortages in new squadron.
-Leadership: Second-in-command of a 128 man cavalry headquarters-troop at Fort Bragg, NC, and during combat operations in Iraq.
-Logistics Management: Managed the unit’s logistical and maintenance systems, and developed individual and team training plans.
-Position Development: Was the first officer ever to serve in this position following re-activation of the unit during re-structuring of the U.S. Army; I created the position and the organisation with no prior resources.
