Always wanted to be in Law Enforcement so I began my career as a Volunteer Deputy Sheriff for Dade County FL. Did that until I started a family. Once my sons were older and I graduated college, I enlisted in the USCG because they offered a Port Security Unit (Law Enforcement). I was able to use, not only my Hazardous Materials training but my language skills, while boarding foreign vessels.
