I was drafted but elected to serve another year in order to get choice of MOS. I served in the 101st Airborne in General Zais's office then in G4 while in Nam. After Nam, served in 95th Civil Affairs Group, Ft Gordon, GA until ETS in 3/71. 95th CA Gp assignment was like treading water, little to do except the usual make work stuff and focusing on self-improvement.
