Bio
Retired Air Force SMSgt/First Sergeant. After leaving the service, I worked in the private sector for Baxter International, in their Thousand Oaks, CA BioScience facility. Following Baxter, I served 10 years as the County of Ventura (CA) - Veteran Services Officer (CVSO) before returning home to Montana and continuing service to fellow veterans as Program Manager for Veterans Navigation Network.

I held a variety of leadership positions in the Air Force, first in Fuels Management/Logistics Planning and the last seven years as a First Sergeant (E-8) overseeing all enlisted personnel within my units.
• Led over 900 personnel in three units overseeing their professional and technical development, military training, good order and discipline, physical fitness, and counseling on personal issues to ensure combat readiness.
• Advised unit commander on all issues affecting enlisted personnel stateside and while deployed.
• In fuels management, maintained facilities and equipment, operated specialized mobility equipment, oversaw personnel and budgets, managed staffing and controlled fuel operations stateside and overseas.
