Recovery Team Leader
Served as squad leader to lead and train soldiers. Upon deployment to OEF Afghanistan I was assigned to the recovery section of B Co although I had not gotten the opportunity to attend H8 school. I had experience in my previous unit both at Carson and in OEF Afghanistan in the same AO. I served as a team leader and TC in a hemmit wrecker. We served as recovery asset to several supply missions from Fenty to different Posts on route California. I also served as a welder fabricator in this section helping my section in any way I could to improve efficiency and security of our post/unit AO.

Served as recovery team leader. was TC on wrecker for several supply missions on route California. Also contributed to welding and fabrication needs of my unit to improve efficiency and security of our units post.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Served on COP Pirtle-King for 12 months as Maintenance NCOIC and TC on the posts Recovery Crew. Maintained and Repaired MRAPS and Generators. Also updated COP electrical. Lead crew to build a new Aid station and medic living quarters. Went on weekly support mission Providing security and recovery support to passing supply convoys. BDAR Specialist.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Served in the motor pool doing major mechanical repairs on hmmvs. Also maned a guard position when needed. Was promoted to SPC during this deployment. Also competed in Soldier of the month Boards and won once. Learned a lot from the soldiers and NCOs around me.
