Anti Aircraft Missile System Crewman
I was in the Marine Corps from 1979 to 1986. During that time I worked on the Hawk Anti Aircraft Missile System, I was also worked as a MIMS (Maintenance Intergrated Management System) Clerk, the Barracks Police Sargent, and the Battalion Training NCO in the S4 Shop in the H&S Btry at our Battalion's Headquarters. During my time in Yuma my unit did multiple trips to Camp Pendleton, 29 Palms, San Clemente Island, Bridgeport California for Cold Weather Training, and MCAS K-Bay in Hawaii.

Hawk Anti Aircraft Missile System Crewman
In the Marines I worked on the Hawk Anti Aircraft Missile System. I was Stationed at MCAS Yuma Arizona, we worked, trained, & did our Missile Shoots in the SW Desert of Arizona. We trained at San Onofre in Camp Pendleton every year, we did CAX Training at 29 Palms. Cold Weather Training & Mount Warefare Training at Bridgeport California, & Desert Survival Training in Nevada, 2nd LAAM Bn was part of the Rapid Deployment Forces that the Marines, Navy, & Air Force setup after the failed attempt at Eagle One to rescue the hostages in Iran. I was the Barracks Police Sargent, I worked as the Maintenance Platoons MIMS (Maintenance Intergrated Management System) Clerk, I worked in our Battalions S3/S4 Shop as one of the Battalion's Training NCO's.
