Deployments

(3 years)
Nov 2007 - Feb 2009
Iraq ribbon
Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Most fun I ever had, even though I was tired of Iraq and would love to have gone to Afghanistan instead. Babysitting Civil Affairs teams out in the countryside, visiting archaeological digs with a local sheikh, taking the entire Korean sector with 56 great Americans, it was a blast!
Feb 2004 - Feb 2005
Iraq ribbon
Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Fobbit in Chief at FOB Falcon.
Feb 2003 - Aug 2003
Iraq ribbon
Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
The invasion. Two ground troops and two Kiowa troops of 3/7 Cav, plus SOF, forward of me. Got blown up on June 15, 2003, as seen on BBC.
