I was put through Advanced Lifesaver (ALS) training as soon as I got to Drum, along with other medical training that I would need to be caught up to standard. Deployed first time to Iraq June 2004-June 2005. Received Combat Medic Badge during my first few months. Promoted to SPC/E-4 early.
Second deployment: August 2006-November 2007: responsible for BN medical supply ordering and distribution.
