This was a special cadre that maintained the unit’s plans and executed headquarters-level programs and special projects. - I carried out internal evaluations of subordinate organizations to prepare our unit for an important higher headquarters inspection, resulting in an “Excellent” rating. - We worked with base officials and civilian authorities to establish a combined emergency management program, ensuring readiness and full compliance with all applicable directives.

I was hired as the Chief Flight Engineer, but soon became senior adviser to the commander on all enlisted professional development and personnel management issues.
