Bio
Born in Philadelphia, I sang in a Doo-Wop group that appeared on television and worked as a printer after graduating from a trade school. I got drafted, went to OCS without a college degree, and then served as a combat infantry platoon leader. Next, I worked as a newspaper reporter, a union organizer, and finally a public defender in Philadelphia as a Philadelphia lawyer!

I attended boot camp at Fort Bragg as a buck private. I remember sewing my yellow stripe on my uniform shoulder after completing the 8-week course and being "held over" for a secret clearance to be provided for Officers Candidate School.
